A Winter Welcome
Wishing you the best in the year ahead. Whether you are setting new intentions now, later, or not at all…I hope this message finds you cozy, warm, and enjoying the beauty of winter!
While our fields may be wrapped up for the season, and the flowers have gone into their much-needed winter slumber, I wanted to take a moment to connect with you and share a few thoughts as we look forward to the upcoming season.
Winter on the farm is a quiet time—a time for reflection, preparation, and (truth be told) a little daydreaming about the blooms to come. There may be no petals to pick at the moment, but the soil is still full of potential, waiting for the promise of spring… in fact, I have already begun starting crops for next Spring.
In these colder months, I find that winter has its own kind of magic. The crisp air, the quiet moments of rest, and the anticipation of that first warm day when the first sprouts will peek through the earth. I can’t help but think of all the vibrant colors and sweet scents that will soon return to the farm—your support will make that possible, as it always does.
What’s coming up in the next few months?
Planning & Preparing: This time of year, it’s all about planning—thinking ahead to what classes we’ll offer, what flowers we’ll grow, testing out new varieties, and ensuring that when the season finally arrives, our soil is ready to nurture those blooms you love. It’s a busy (but peaceful) time of year!
Spring Sneak Peek: I’ll be sending out some early updates soon—everything from class selections and flower variety reveals to what we’ve learned from last season and how we’re improving the next one. We’ll be dreaming up all sorts of fun surprises to share with you along the way.
Your Support Means the World: Even in the stillness of winter, your connection and encouragement continue to warm my heart. Whether you’ve purchased flowers in the past, shared kind words on social media, or simply sent positive vibes, you make this flower farmer’s journey so much brighter. I can’t wait to share the fruits of our labor with you as we approach the next growing season.
Until then, I’ll be sipping hot tea, sketching out garden plans, and eagerly awaiting the return of spring. I look forward to welcoming you back to the farm in the warmer months and, of course, to filling your home with beautiful blooms once again.
Wishing you a cozy winter and a season full of anticipation,
Chelsea
