A new tradition

It’s easy to get caught up in the many tasks of the day-to-day farming business. Year one, I was taking the leap and testing my market. Year two, I was diving into business development and growth. And year three finds me reconnecting with my WHY.

Lately, I’ve been reflecting on why I started this journey in the first place— and it’s the deep joy of cultivating beauty and creating something that brings people closer to nature. It’s nurturing a community that learns, creates, and supports each other.

There’s something truly magical about tending to the earth and watching flowers bloom, knowing they’ll soon be part of someone’s home or celebration. This isn’t just a job, it’s my creative outlet, my form of expression. And I want to feel more connected to my creative expression this year than I have in the past.

I’m excited to share a new Sunday tradition with you: Once a month, I’ll be showcasing a floral design that reflects my passion for the flowers I’m growing right here on the farm. It’s my way of inviting you into the process, of blending the earth’s gifts with the artistry of design.

The flowers from this arrangement are from my friend Carlyn from @wildwillowgardens! I saw her white amaryllis and I HAD to have them! The paper-whites are a beautiful supplement and they fill my sitting room with their profound aroma. It’s heavenly.

Stay tuned as I share the many opportunities that you can participate in the community of learning, growth, and creativity right here on my farm. I am looking forward to sharing these moment with you!
